How do you tell an actual Rust EAC ban from a connection problem?
Closed thread Closed by archiveQuick question about Rust errors.
How can you tell whether you've actually received an EAC ban or whether the game is just having a connection issue?
I've seen people online immediately call everything an EAC ban, even when the error looks more like a server or authentication problem.

People really do jump straight to the worst possible conclusion lol.
Check whether it's an EAC game ban, a community server ban or an ordinary connection error. Those are different situations.
And if it's an actual EAC ban?
Check the official Facepunch support documentation and the EAC appeal process. Don't trust random websites offering guaranteed removals. Facepunch EAC Ban Support
Important point: EAC bans are generally permanent unless overturned through the official review process. Don't confuse a temporary server problem with that.
